Who is required to complete this course?
Any individual, regardless of their residence, who is convicted of specific traffic violations in Wisconsin is mandated to successfully complete a Right-of-Way course, often referred to as a Failure to Yield course.
How do I know if I have to complete this course?
The DMV will notify you if you are required to take the course. You will be notified by email if you are an eNotify subscriber or by mail if you are not.
How long is the course?
The course is two hours in length. Most individuals complete the course in one day.
Is there a completion due date or deadline?
It is imperative to complete the course within six months of the date of the letter or email. Failure to do so will result in the suspension of your driving privileges. If you don’t complete it before the 6 months are up, your driving privilege will be suspended. If your license is already suspended, completion of the course is a prerequisite of reinstatement.
How does completing this program impact my driving record?
Successfully completing this program will assist in preventing the accumulation of points on your driving license.
Is there a final exam that I must pass?
Individuals are allowed two attempts to pass the required final exam, and a minimum score of 80% is necessary for successful completion.
Can I fail the class?
If you are unable to pass the final exam within the two permitted attempts, you have the option to retake the course.
When will I receive my certificate of completion?
After successfully completing a Right-of-Way/Failure to Yield course, All Star will electronically notify the DMV and the student. It is advisable to check your driving status and eligibility to reinstate your driver license if it has been suspended.
Can I complete the program on a variety of devices?
For the best experience with our course, we recommend using a computer or laptop with Google Chrome. Some features may not be available on all devices.
What if I drop out or want a refund for the program?
No refunds are issued after the start of class. All other approved refunds are subject to a $5 processing fee, can take up to 10 business days, are credited back to the card on which they were purchased and are issued only to the person who paid for the program. A full refund will be issued if All Star must cancel your course/program and cannot provide an acceptable alternative.
*No refund is due to students who have been expelled from an All Star program.
*There is a $30 return check fee for all returned checks.
