How old do I have to be to start the Wisconsin Teen Online program?
You must be at 14 and 6 months to start the program. Individuals who are 18 or older are not obligated to complete this program, but they have the option to do so to acquire additional knowledge.
How long is the Driver Education program?
The Wisconsin Teen Online course is a 30-hour program, allowing students to engage in 2 hours of online learning per day. The course is required to extend over a minimum of 21 days, and students are granted a total of 180 days to successfully complete the program.
Is there a final exam?
There is no final exam that students must pass in order to pass the online course. We do have a practice final exam at the end of our course that must be taken, but there is no minimum score you must receive in order to pass.
Is there a deadline or completion due date?
Students have a 180-day window from the date the course is started to successfully complete the program.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Your certificate of completion will come from [email protected] no more than a maximum of 10 days after completing the program.
What are the requirements to obtain an instruction permit for an applicant under age 18?
- Be at least 15 years old.
- Have completed or be enrolled in an approved behind-the-wheel driver education course which begins within 60 days of the date your driver education instructor certifies your driver license application.
- Have your adult sponsor sign the driver license application.
- Present proof of:
- Citizenship or legal status in the U.S.
- Name and date of birth
- Identity
- Wisconsin residency
- Provide your Social Security Number
- Pass the knowledge test, Highway Signs test and vision screening.
Am I required to complete a Driver Education program?
For individuals under the age of 18, completion of an approved Driver Education program is mandatory to apply for and obtain an instruction permit.
When can I apply for my license?
Wisconsin residents under 18 years of age may obtain a probationary driver license at the minimum age of 16 when they have passed an approved driver education course and have an adult sponsor. View the comprehensive list of Probationary License requirements.
How do I obtain my driver’s license?
Individuals under the age of 18 and at least 15 years and 6 months of age must first obtain an instruction permit. Visit the state’s site to view the steps to obtaining your driver license.
What are the computer requirements?
For the best experience, we recommend using a computer or laptop with Google Chrome. Some features may not be available on all devices. Google Chrome is the recommended browser for a hassle-free experience.
Will I need to take in-car driving lessons after this course?
Six hours of behind the wheel instruction is required; you can complete this requirement at an approved driving school of your choice.
What if I drop out or want a refund for the program?
No refunds are issued after the start of class. All other approved refunds are subject to a $5 processing fee, can take up to 10 business days, are credited back to the card on which they were purchased and are issued only to the person who paid for the program. A full refund will be issued if All Star must cancel your course/program and cannot provide an acceptable alternative.
*No refund is due to students who have been expelled from an All Star program.
*There is a $30 return check fee for all returned checks.
